What makes our scratch made Eats & Sweets so delicious? It all starts with fresh, natural ingredients sourced from farmers and vendors who care deeply about quality products and ethical practices. Many of our partnerships go back several years, and we use local ingredients whenever possible.

Now, after over 30 years, this completely family owned and operated business continues to serve groceries, restaurants and specialty shops throughout the five state Upper Midwest Area. To meet the needs of its customers Hamel Syrup purchases supplies from local sugar makers in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan.

Thousand Lakes wild rice is harvested in Minnesota and is 100% natural. The only ingredient is wild rice! No preservatives, salt, or other rices added. Three-eighths of an inch (3/8″) long grain. Expands almost 3 times when cooked. Use 1 cup (about 0.4 pounds) of uncooked Minnesota wild rice to make 4 generous portions.
